The final product for my 2D production class. The goal was to produce a film that was: -15-20 seconds long (It isn't, by a long shot) -3 shots total -and has one multiplane shot (I'm not sure if I pulled it off, but I like to think I did)
I like how this turned out. The original intention was for it to be produced in ToonBoom, but that didn't happen. Instead, the animatic (which I need to upload) was done in Storyboard Pro, and the final animation was done in flash. What I did learn was the animation pipeline and how a project goes from concept to finished film, which I think makes me a better artist. I was also able to apply a new workflow to my flash animations which ensures that I don't kill myself doing cleanup. And most importantly, I had fun, and it was better than everything I've done so far!
What do you guys think?
PS, there's no sound because I both ran out of time, and couldn't find anything that fit.
This is cool! Finally, it's working for me. The top view of him running could probably be improved, as well as faster attacks. But other than this, I like the animation style, the characters, and the epic setting. Can't wait to see a colored and audio'd version!
It won't play for me at all...it just gives me the spinning wheel of dots. And it won't load any further. There's a chance you may need to reupload it or something.
I really like the monkeys jump sequences on the serpents head, especially on that zoom in.
