Mario+LuigiRPG - You gonna make a move?

So, I was thinking of things to draw at work, when I booted up my work music. Which sounds like this:
www.youtube.com/watch?v=MN78i0… And I thought "How cool would it be to turn this into an animated portrait like all the cool kids do?" But that takes too much time I don't have, I had to settle for this doodle.

Interestingly enough, given how self-aware the Mario RPG games are (I mean, Bowser lets Toad turn a 'final battle' into a tutorial), I wonder if the Mario Bros can hear the music? And if so, I wonder if they groove to it like I do? I mean seriously, I burn so much time in battle just trying to hit the right emotional beats with my attacks, those battles go on way longer than they're supposed to.
